Austin Convention Center’s Exciting July 2024 Lineup: BPOE, Unicorn World, and More

July 2024 promises a vibrant series of events at the Austin Convention Center, featuring seven distinct gatherings. Notable events include the BPOE 2024 Annual Convention, Unicorn World, the APD Exam, the PLC at Work Institute, and Dream Con, which concludes the month.

From June 30 to July 3, the Austin Convention Center will host the BPOE 2024 Annual Convention. Organized by the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, this event spans four days and includes a mix of official proceedings, educational workshops, award ceremonies, charitable activities, and social gatherings.

Unicorn World will captivate attendees at the Austin Convention Center on July 13-14. This enchanting event, ideal for families and unicorn aficionados, features attractions such as the Unicorn Forest, interactive stables, animatronic displays, and a diverse Arts and Crafts Market.

The center has two private events scheduled from July 16-21. These events may be member-only gatherings or invite-only occasions, with details potentially being kept confidential. Organizers can list these events on the Austin Convention Center and Palmer Event Centers’ official platforms.

The APD Exam will take place on July 19, facilitated by the Austin Police Department. This important examination is aimed at prospective police officers and cadets.

From July 22-24, the High-Impact TEAMS in a PLC at Work Institute is scheduled. This initiative focuses on empowering educators to elevate student learning and enhance teamwork skills. Participants will gain insights into establishing and enriching a Professional Learning Community (PLC) at their schools.

Dream Con will animate the Austin Convention Center from July 26-28. This annual festival celebrates the worlds of gaming, content creation, and anime, offering fans a chance to meet popular streamers and influencers, compete in gaming tournaments, and engage in a host of interactive experiences.

The Austin Convention Center and Palmer Events Center are maintained and managed by the ACCD, under the governance of the City of Austin.
