Hello all,

Witcher 1 Help...
I am not able to play Witcher 1 with either Keyboard or Mouse. So can I buy any controller which might help in Combat. Any supported controllers that you know of for Witcher 1. Please specify. Thanks.

Can you elaborate more on this what challenge are you facing?
Did you tried different usb port or are you using a wireless combo?

Disable steam overlay and the virtual theme settings when you rt-click properties, on the first tab. Works like a charm for me. Also use your vid cards over ride to force v-synch (60 fps) and force tripple buffering....no more screen tears and it looks rather good.

The thing is I am not able to play Witcher 1 like in Witcher 2 and 3.

Witcher 1 had Reeeeaaaallllyyyy wonky controls. I had to give it up due to that. Waiting for the full remake now to play it!!!

Does playing using a Controller work with the combat?

Didn't have access to a controller back then, wasn't in the mood to get one for a relatively unknown game (I was primarily an Isometric ARPG player back then - Mouse-Keyb rules for those)
