Reading Time: 2 minutesOn June 28, 2024, Air France unveiled its newly renovated lounge at Cayenne-Félix Eboué International Airport. This elegantly revamped space allows customers to indulge in a meal, focus on work, or simply unwind before their flight. Designed for the comfort of Air France’s Business and Flying Blue Ultimate, Platinum, and Gold members, the lounge caters to passengers heading to Paris-Charles de Gaulle or traversing the airline’s Regional Caribbean Network. It also extends a warm welcome to eligible travelers from KLM and SkyTeam affiliates.
Spanning over 100 square meters, the lounge features 41 seats, nearly 70% of which have been sustainably refurbished and reupholstered locally. The interior, bathed in Air France’s classic hues—shades of blue, bright whites, hints of red, and adorned with its iconic winged seahorse—evokes a tranquil and inviting ambiance.
Central to the lounge is a dining section that celebrates French gastronomy, featuring plush red leather seating and a self-service menu that varies throughout the day. Patrons can savor a range of hot and cold, savory and sweet selections, including vegetarian dishes. Highlights include meat and seafood salads, fish court-bouillon, and turmeric chicken, all emphasizing local ingredients.
Air France is committed to environmental sustainability within the lounge by reducing food waste and enhancing recycling practices. Water dispensers are also installed to minimize single-use plastic usage.
For added privacy and relaxation, the lounge includes three secluded areas with cozy seating. A high table near the window provides a perfect spot for working under natural light, while a special section is exclusively reserved for Flying Blue Ultimate customers.
Additionally, the lounge offers free Wi-Fi, ample electric and USB charging points, and digital newspapers through the Air France Play app.
This season, Air France is operating a daily long-haul flight from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Cayenne, along with multiple weekly flights across its Caribbean and American networks, including new routes to Miami and Belém.
