Brew and ‘Blues Monsters:’ Truckee Brewfest returns July 13
TRUCKEE, Calif. – Sip some Brews and listen to great Blues at the 17th Annual Truckee Brewfest on Saturday, July 13, 1 to 5 p.m. at the Truckee Regional Park.
This FUNdraiser will feature the music of the very popular “Blues Monsters” and tasting of specialty brews served by area Craft breweries and local Home brewers. “To date we expect about 17 craft breweries and 19 regional Home brewers who will be vying for best of show awards,” said Todd Wold, Event Co-Chair and Club Vice President. “There will be plenty of beer including some gluten free and non-alcoholic choices.”
Entry ticket includes a commemorative tasting glass and all-you-can-taste “responsibly” brews from 1 pm to 5 pm. Food will be available from Casa Baeza and Mogrog food trucks. This year’s Silent Auction also promises to feature a lot of great items to bid on at great values.

This Adult Only Event (must be 21) is the place to be on the afternoon of July 13. Besides the huge variety of brews, music, food, and auction items, the setting on the lawn and under the pines at Regional Park provides a venue unmatched by most Brewfests or similar events..
“For those who have not attended our Brewfest in the past, we encourage you to come out, bring your friends and share in the fun. Hopefully you will want to be a Brewfest attendee for years to come,” said Barbara Wong, Vice President.
No children, dogs or pets allowed. ABC Rules and Regulations are strictly enforced.
All proceeds from this event go to multiple youth programs (educational, sports, arts, music, field trips, academic and vocational scholarships, etc. for our local Truckee kids.
“Since the Truckee Optimist Club received its charter in 1972, it has raised and funded over $2 million in programs, grants and scholarships for Truckee youth,” said Anna Grahn Nilsson, Club President and Brewfest co-chair. “By providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in kids.”
