Duolingo spoofs viral green wizard TikToks

A green, gnomish wizard is blessing storefronts with his presence — or cursing them if you’re a security guard — all over TikTok.

For those not yet under his spell, the man under the robes is user @crawly_possessed. Crawly scutters around malls waving a pink insect net and garbling high-pitched nonsense before sneaking into the backs of department stores and fast-food restaurants where employees shoo him away. Some have attempted to capture him, though they proved to be no match for his mystical wile.

Глупые рыцари вы НИКОГДА не поймаете CRAWLY

Duolingo, one to quickly respond to viral social media trends, has spoofed Crawly’s videos by dressing up mascot Duo as a wizard and sending him into a Brazilian market.

Somehow, an employee had the heart to kick him out.
