UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Monday July 01, 2024 declared the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2024 on its official website upsc.gov.in.

UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 Date
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had conducted the Civil Services Prelims Exams on Sunday June 16, 2024.
The UPSC IAS Written Exams (Prelims) was conducted in two sessions – General Studies (GS) and Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT).
The General Studies (GS) paper was held in the morning session from 09:30 am to 11:30 am whereas Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) paper was held in the afternoon session from 02:30 pm to 04:30 pm.

The candidates who have qualified in the UPSC Civil Services Prelims will now appear for the UPSC Civil Services Main exam 2024.
As per the original schedule, UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024 will be held in 5 days starting from Friday September 20, 2024.
The UPSC Civil Services Main exam is followed by personal interview or personal test (P.T.).
The candidates should also that their selection is provisional.
"In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024", the UPSC said.
"The dates and important instructions for filling up of the DAF-I and its submission will be announced in due course on the website of the Commission", the commission said.
Candidates are informed that marks, cut off marks and answer keys of CS (P) Examination, 2024 will be uploaded on the Commission’s website i.e. "upsc.gov.in" only after the entire process of the Civil Services Examination, 2024 is over.
The UPSC Civil Services Prelims was originally scheduled to be held on May 26, 2024. The exam was however postponed to June 16, 2024 due to the 2024 General Elections.
