China's international trade in goods and services reached 4.06 trillion yuan in May this year, increasing by 7 per cent year on year (YoY), according to official data.Goods worth 1.95 trillion yuan were exported during the month, while the import value of goods totaled 1.56 trillion yuan, resulting in a surplus of 391.4 billion yuan.
In US dollar terms, goods exports and imports during the month were worth $302.5 billion and $268.9 billion respectively, resulting in a trade surplus of $33.6 billion, a state-controlled news outlet reported citing the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
