CLAT 2025: The Common Law Admission Test 2025 (CLAT 2025) will be held on December 01, 2024 and CLAT 2025 notification in the form of advertisements in both print and electronic media on July 07, 2024, the Consortium of National Law Universities (NALSAR) said.
With the issuance of CLAT notification on July 07, the registration and online application process for the CLAT 2025.
Introduced first time in 2008, the Common Law Admission Test is a centralized national-level entrance test for admissions to the 25 out of 27 National Law Universities except NLU Delhi and NLU Meghalaya.
The CLAT 2025 will offer a total of 3,361 seats across participating National Law Universities and other institutions.
The admission to UG and PG programmes in participating universities under "CLAT 2025" will be completed through centralised online counselling conducted by the CLAT Consortium Office.
The basis of allotment of seats shall be 'merit-cum-preference', i.e., the CLAT Rank, the order of preference given by the candidate in the CLAT application form and the category/categories selected by the candidate in the online application form and the number of seats and their division/break-up as available in each of the participating NLU.
Online counselling will start after the declaration of "CLAT 2025 result". A detailed counselling schedule is published after the CLAT result.
Candidates should note that CLAT 2025 examination will be held in OFFLINE mode. But, The applications have to be submitted ONLINE only through consortiumofnlus.ac.in website.
The CLAT 2025 will comprise 120 (One hundred and Twenty) questions. The questions will be distributed into five sections, that is, English Language, Current Affairs Including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.
