Dani Olmo scores!! Georgia cannot clear the ball away from its own half and the ball falls to Olmo just outside the box.

He takes a touch and passes it into the bottom left corner.

Spain: Carvajal and Fabian Ruiz are replaced by Mikel Merino and Jesus Navas

Olmo and Yamal play a one-touch move to set the latter inside the box. He takes a shot and forces another great save from Mamardashvili.

Georgia: Gvelesiani and Mikautadze are replaced by Nika Kvekveskiri and Budu Zizivadze.

Williams scores!! Fabian Ruiz wins the ball near his own penalty area and plays a perfect ball over the top to find Williams on the left. He uses his pace to get into the penalty box and beat his man.

He lines up his shot and fires it into the goal.

Davitashvili is booked for a late challenge on Dani Olmo.

Georgia on the attack and Kvaratskhelia finds substitute Tsitaishvili completely free on the left. He drives into the box and takes a wild shot with his left which flies into the side netting.

Georgia is under pressure at the back. Kochorashvili plays a square pass into his own box which is pounced upon by Yamal. He takes a touch and tries to curl one into he goal but ends up shooting wide of the left post. 

Spain is enjoying a good spell of possession now but will be wary of the threat that Georgia brings on the counter. 

Yamal gets the ball on the right wing and tries to dribble his way into the box. Dvali stops his run and concedes a corner.

Spain is caught out again and Kvaratkshelia drives forward. He is bombarded by four red shirts around him which forces him to lose out on the ball.

Fabian Ruiz scores!! Freekick in a good position just outside the box for Spain. Yamal stands over the freekick and shoots it. He forces a good save from Mamardashvili.

The ball is pushed back into play and Spain recycles it to find Yamal on the right. He spots Ruiz and crosses the ball into the middle. Ruiz has the simplest of headers to give Spain the lead.

SUBSTITUTION: Pedri is replaced by Dani Olmo

Pedri gives away the ball and Kvarastkhelia gets it and looks up. He sees Unai Simon off his line and goes for the goal himself from his own half.

Simon looks on as the ball just goes wide of the left post. What a goal that would have been.

Rodri gives away the ball and Mikautadze pounces on it and breaks away. Le Normand does well to track back and win the ball from the Georgian attacker. 

Georgia kicks off the second half shooting from right to left. No substitution for either side after the break.

Spain equalised against Georgia via Rodri after a series of attacks to comeback 1-1 in the Euro 2024 round of 16 match in Germany on Sunday.

Spain is keeping possession of the ball. Pedri whips in a cross from the right. Morata was waiting but it was headed away from him by the Georgian defence. 

A corner comes in for Spain from the left which is once again cleared away by the Georgian defence. And that is the last action of the first half as the referee blows the whistle for half time. 

Two minutes of added time in the first half.

Alvaro Morata is booked for a bad foul on Luka Lochoshvili.

Georgia: Injured Kiteishvili is replaced by Sandro Altunashvili

Rodri scores!! Nico Williams gets the ball on the left side of the box and he gives it to Rodri at the edge of the box. He cuts to his left and flashes his left foot at the ball and finds the bottom right corner. Spain’s patience pays off.

Cucurella gets the ball outside the box and looks to find the bottom right corner from long range. Mamardashvili makes another save to secure his side’s lead.

Once again it’s Georgia on the attack. Kvaratskhelia drives down the left and gets past Le Normand. But Cravajal tracks back well to take the ball away from the Georgian.

Georgia is on the counter now and Spain is struggling. Kvarastskhelia gets the ball and lays it off to Lochoshvili on the edge of the box. He hits it with power but the Spain defence does well to block the shot.

Georgia has completed only 42 passes so far, compared to 238 by Spain. 

Pedri gets the ball on the edge of the box and hits it on the half-volley with his left. It goes just wide of the goal in the end.

Spain conceded an own goal after a series of attacks to trail 0-1 against Georgia in their Euro 2024 round of 16 match in Germany on Sunday.

Spain is frantic now. Fabian Ruiz is on the right side of the box and hits the ball with power. Mamardashvili makes another save.

Georgia scores!! Georgia catches Spain off guard and the ball is played to Kakabadze who has space on the right wing. He looks up and whips a ball into the middle. It bounces inside the box and it hits Le Normand and goes into the goal. Another own goal in the tournament.

Spain is knocking on the door again and again. The Georgian defence is throwing themselves at the ball to keep the scores level. Williams gets the ball on the left side of the box and takes a shot. He is closed down by a defender and it goes out for a corner.

Corner comes in from the left for Spain. The ball is directed toward the goal and Mamardashvili makes another great save.

So far, the game is being played exclusively in the Georgian half. Nico Williams spots Cucurella’s run and passes to him inside the box. Cucurella cuts back a cross which is cleared away for a corner.

Yamal gets the ball in the middle of the pitch and drives into the half. He lays it off to Carvajal on the right wing who crosses it into the middle. Pedri is there and stretches out a leg to direct the ball on target.

Georgia’s keeper Mamardashvili does well to catch the ball and make a save.

Spain starts the game with possession of the ball as expected. Fabian Ruiz gets the ball outside the box and tries a shot. It is blocked an cleared away by the Georgian defence. 

Spain kicks off the match shooting from right to left. The winner of this match will face the host nation Germany in the quarterfinal.

The players are making their way into the Cologne stadium. Alvaro Morata leads Spain while Guram Kashia leads Georgia.
