Reading Time: 2 minutesFred. Olsen Cruise Lines‘ site wins at the UK Digital Growth Awards for its transformative design and effective customer engagement.
The firm was honored during the UK Digital Growth Awards 2024, held in central London on the evening of June 20th. An expert panel from the digital industry selected the winners.
This event celebrates projects that significantly alter businesses, enhance customer experiences, and deliver substantial benefits.
This recognition follows the debut of Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ redesigned website last year. The overhaul focused on simplifying the booking system and expanding customization options for cruise guests.
Ben Williams, Head of Digital at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to have won the title of Travel and Leisure Website of the Year.
“It is recognition of our whole team’s effort and dedication to improving the experience of our guests when visiting our website.
“We are all proud of our revamped website, from our new booking system meaning we can offer a seamless guest experience from the moment they choose to cruise with us to our digital scratch map which allows guests to revisit memories of previous sailings.”
The panel praised the website for its clear and impressive results, highlighting the strong link between the site’s outcomes and its performance. They also commended the comprehensive web redesign project for its remarkable success.
Additionally, the judges appreciated the website’s precise audience segmentation and content alignment, which successfully captivated and engaged its target visitors.
This award marks the second triumph for the digital initiative, following its previous victory as the Travel Website of the Year at the UK Dev Awards in February.
