Melco Style Unveils Exclusive Four-Hands Dinners In Black Pearl Diamond Series

Melco Style proudly presents the latest installment of its acclaimed gastronomic series, The Black Pearl Diamond Restaurants. Mark your calendars for the upcoming themed four-hands dinners on August 17-18 and September 21-22. These exclusive events will showcase exciting collaborations: Michelin-starred Chef Ying from Altira Macau partnering with Black Pearl’s Hai Wei Guan from Shanghai for the first weekend, followed by Chef Jin Ying from City of Dreams Macau teaming up with Black Pearl’s AKEN’S KITCHEN from Guangzhou on the second weekend. Reservations open on Monday, July 1, offering Melco Style members an exclusive 10% discount.

Endorsed by the Macao Government Tourism Office, Melco Style proudly presents The Black Pearl Diamond Restaurants Gastronomic Series, showcasing Melco’s commitment to promoting Macau as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy and solidifying its properties as premier dining destinations for locals and tourists alike. These unique cross-regional events offer epicureans the chance to indulge in regional specialties from across China while highlighting Macau’s diverse culinary landscape through the themes of “Inheritance, Innovation, and The forthcoming 10th installment of this series is set to conclude by the end of 2024, ensuring yet another memorable gastronomic experience.

Featuring Ying’s Fresh Shredded Fish Soup with Sturgeon Cartilage, priced at MOP 2,288* per person (with a special 10% discount for Melco Style members), Chapter 8 of the Gastronomic Series, titled “Seasonal Treasures of Guangdong and Shanghai,” will showcase a unique culinary collaboration. Chef Benny Wu from Altira Macau’s Ying joins forces with Chef and Founder Huang Jun from Shanghai’s Hai Wei Guan, promising a fusion of Cantonese and Shanghainese flavors that celebrate the essence of both cuisines.

Jin Ying’s Tossed Geoduck and Sea Urchin presents an exquisite nine-course menu featuring beloved dishes from both restaurants. Highlights include Ying’s Chilled Fresh Surf Clams with Black Caviar and Clams Soup Jelly, Fresh Shredded Fish Soup with Sturgeon Cartilage, and Braised Australian Abalone with Preserved Bean Curd Sauce. From Hai Wei Guan, diners can savor dishes such as Crispy Beef with Dried Tangerine Peel, Crispy Chicken with Pork and Black Truffle, and Shanghainese Braised Pork Belly with Fish Maw and Black Truffle. Truffle, alongside Shanghainese Braised Pork Belly served with Fish Maw, Black Truffle, and Vegetable Rice. Chefs Wu and Huang have collaborated on the Signature Sliced Grouper with Scallop in Seafood Sauce and Plum Sauce to tantalize guests’ palates and set the stage for the luxurious feast ahead.

Chapter 8: Seasonal Treasures of Guangdong and Shanghai will exclusively take place on August 17 and 18 at the Michelin-starred Ying restaurant in Altira Macau, for two nights only.

Next in line is Chapter 9: The Unique Flavors of Lingnan, scheduled for September 21 and 22 at Jin Ying in City of Dreams Macau. Chef Alex Tang of Jin Ying, known for skillfully blending ancient Cantonese traditions with modern flavors, will collaborate with Chef Aken Chen, the renowned chef and founder of Guangzhou’s AKEN’S KITCHEN, specializing in Hakka cuisine. Together, they aim to deliver an unmatched gastronomic journey showcasing the traditional food culture of Lingnan, the origin of both Cantonese and Hakka cuisines.

Priced at MOP 2,288* per person (with an exclusive 10% discount for Melco Style members), this collaborative dinner will feature six exquisite specialties, including Tossed Geoduck and Sea Urchin, Pan-fried Pan-fried Filefish with Pickles and Soybean Paste Sauce, Salt Baked Stuffed Pigeon with Abalone, and Stuffed Sea Cucumber with Minced Pork accompanied by Rock Rice. The dessert, Deep-fried Tomato Puff with Bean Curd Pudding, is a unique creation crafted jointly by the two esteemed restaurants for this special occasion.
