Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: India Cements(Rs. 2207.43 crore), Archean Chemical(Rs. 1076.84 crore), INEOS Styrolution(Rs. 613.83 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 459.45 crore), Kintech Renewables (Rs. 271.51 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 249.73 crore), Indian Renewable(Rs. 226.13 crore), GRSE(Rs. 161.79 crore), Arvind Fashions(Rs. 161.59 crore) and M&M(Rs. 145.37 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 175.71 points up at 24044.5, while BSE Sensex rose 568.93 points to 79243.18.

In the Nifty index, UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 5.15 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 3.86 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 3.35 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 3.32 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(up 3.16 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 1.28 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 0.61 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.55 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.51 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
