Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Saratoga Springs recently hosted its summer showcase to benefit Old Friends at Cabin Creek, an organization that provides dignified retirement options for thoroughbred horses. Old Friends at Cabin Creek is Saratoga County’s only thoroughbred retirement farm and one of the few that take thoroughbred stallions. The organization is staffed by volunteers and runs entirely on donations. The goal is to provide a natural, nurturing forever home to retired racehorses, and offer the public an up-close and personal experience with thoroughbred horses.
