Suresh Bansal, founder of DCGpac, said, “The packaging industry is undergoing a paradigm shift, facilitated by the need for sustainability and consumer demand for eco-friendly solutions.

“As a result, it has become a strategic imperative for businesses to prioritise sustainable packaging. By embracing this efficient solution, businesses have the opportunity to build a greener future, whilst leveraging the benefits of an eco-conscious customer base,” Bansal added.

Given that 90% of customers support brands that commit to sustainable packaging practices, brands are more keen to offer products that are both made and packaged in ecologically safe layers.

Thus, as the need to strike a balance between well-priced and sustainable packaging becomes more intrinsic, the survey highlighted that 83% of brands are shifting towards adopting sustainable packaging by making use of recyclable and compostable materials, fit for reducing the carbon footprint.

The crucial insights gathered in the survey demonstrate the pivotal need for brands to embrace sustainable packaging solutions, which will serve as the cornerstone for business success by elevating reputation, market competitiveness, and expanding consumer base.

The poignant shift towards green packaging presents an opportunity to promote a circular economy by addressing the environmental loop through recycling and sustainable processes.
