Captain Douglas “TRIG’R” Clark recently graduated from the US Air Force Weapons School at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. The Weapons School is the pinnacle of fighter pilot training. It is a master’s level course that includes the planning of missions, briefing them, leading the fight, and then debriefing them. The course also requires writing a paper to be published within the fighter community. Clark flies the F-35 stealth fighter jet, the newest, most sophisticated fighter in the Air Force inventory.
Captain Clark graduated number one in the class and was named Outstanding Graduate. He will now be returning to his home of Eielson AFB in Fairbanks, Alaska where he will be guiding the 355th fighter squadron until the fall of 2025.
Doug is a Wisconsin native, a 2011 graduate of Wautoma High School, and a 2016 graduate of the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
