Elon Musk’s social media platform X (formerly Twitter) will soon restrict the ability to livestream to Premium subscribers only. This change was announced in a post on the platform through the official @Live profile. The company did not specify an exact date for this change.
The post stated that free users will no longer have the option to livestream via an encoder platform integrated with X.
In the announcement, the company said: “Starting soon, only Premium subscribers will be able to livestream (create live video streams) on X. This includes going live from an encoder with X integration. Upgrade to Premium to continue going live.”
