Built with Meta Llama 3, Meta AI is already available on phones for free across more than a dozen countries. And it’s starting to roll out in India in English. Users can use Meta AI on WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram to get things done, learn, create and connect with the things that matter to you.
Meta first announced Meta AI at last year’s Connect, and since April, they have been bringing the latest version of Meta AI built with Llama 3 to people around the world.
Make Meta AI Work for You
Users can ask Meta AI in their WhatsApp group chat to recommend restaurants with great views and vegan options for themselves and their friends to consider when planning a night out with friends.
For organizing a weekend getaway, users can ask Meta AI to give ideas of places to stop on a road trip. Similarly, to cram for a test, users can ask Meta AI on the web to create a multiple choice test or while moving into a new apartment, users can ask Meta AI to “imagine” the aesthetic they want so that they can create a mood board of AI-generated images for inspiration on their furniture shopping.
Meta AI in Feed
Users can also access Meta AI when scrolling through their Facebook feeds. If you come across a post you’re interested in, you can ask Meta AI for more info right from the post. For example, if you see a photo of the northern lights in Iceland, you can ask Meta AI what time of year is best to check out the aurora borealis.
Spark Your Creativity With Meta AI’s Imagine Feature
Using the word ‘imagine’ while interacting with Meta AI directly or in a group chat, users can create and share images. Imagine is Meta’s text-to-image generation capability that will let users spark their creativity – like creating a customized fun invite for their kid’s birthday party or riff with friends to create fun images.
Users can also ask Meta AI to animate it or iterate an image they found with friends by asking Meta AI to change the prompt.
