VIA HFR Invites Media to Discuss New Québec-Toronto Rail with CEO Martin Imbleau

VIA HFR is excited to extend an invitation to members of the media for a keynote address by Martin Imbleau, CEO, highlighting the progress of a new high-speed, high-frequency passenger rail network linking Québec City and Toronto. Scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, 2024, this in-person luncheon will run from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Mr. Imbleau will take the stage at 12:45 p.m. to discuss the project’s milestones, the benefits of intercity rail travel, and its crucial role in supporting Canada’s Net-Zero transition plan. This initiative aligns with the sustainable development goals of the Council of the Great Lakes Region, offering a resilient transportation alternative that enhances environmental sustainability and regional economic resilience.

After the conference, Mr. Imbleau will join a discussion moderated by Mr. Mark Fisher, CEO of the Council of the Great Lakes.
