Beverages of the Catskills Trail (CBCT). With the help of this association, Local Explorers will
create a mobile passport app for CBCT’s novel Drink the Catskills craft beverage trajectory, which will
comprise more than 30 of artisanal breweries of the region, along with cideries, distilleries and wineries.
The app will assist users find and acquire info about the beverage sources of the area, and also incentivize
them to discover and visit new sites. Users will get points for visiting contributing sites and checking in
with the app and receive rewards like T-shirts, koozies and glasses.
The association with Local Explorers is an important stride for CBCT, a New York State-based non-profit
