Wellness-focused resort Meliá Desert Palm has officially unveiled their newly-refurbished Al Waha family villa, combining sustainability and luxury in an Arabian-inspired package.
Located in the heart of a 64-hectare polo estate around twenty minutes from Downtown Dubai, the property positions itself as a luxury oasis offering an exceptional experience that combines Arabian elegance with Spanish passion and the world of Polo.
The newly-revamped 585m2 villa is hoped to be a sanctuary of sophistication and comfort. Comprised of three bedrooms, it has a fully equipped kitchen and living area, and a private courtyard with an expansive private pool. Its interiors combine Arabian craftsmanship in the warm and earthy tones of the desert, along with elements that pay homage to Spain, the home of the Meliá brand. The furniture is all custom-made in Dubai, while certain elements – such as a ceiling lamp made of recycled bottles – have been crafted with a commitment to sustainability, and the resort’s values of social responsibility and community engagement in mind. In-room amenities by luxury Barcelona based perfume brand Carner offer a high-end finishing touch.
Meliá Desert Palm is also celebrating the 30th anniversary of its MeliáRewards programme this year. Among the activities available at the property – which include a spa, infinity pool, fitness centre, Polo and horse-riding school, and private dining experiences, the property also offers guided buggy tours around the estate, where guests can see peacocks, kingfishers, and more around the lush greenery.
