Experience the Bold Tastes of Africola at Osborn House’s Signature Fire Feast

On Friday, June 21, an exciting culinary event will take place as Duncan Welgemoed, celebrated chef of Adelaide’s Africola, travels to Osborn House to participate in their Fire Feast series. For one night only, this event will blend South African braai techniques with the bold flavors characteristic of African cuisine in a celebration of fire-cooked traditions.

Osborn House regularly hosts Fire Feast, an event that venerates the ancient South American tradition of live open-fire cooking. This unique edition will see a creative fusion of Argentinian and South African barbecue styles. The evening’s menu will include some of Fire Feast’s most cherished creations such as the infiernillo empanadas and the infiernillo salt baked ocean trout. Duncan Welgemoed will add his signature flair to the menu with dishes like the wood fire smoked Rockaway Chicken, enhanced with his signature peri peri sauce from Africola.

The festivities will commence at 5 PM, and the experience is priced at $195 per person, which includes a generous array of dishes and a welcome glass of Rameau d’Or rosé. This event is set to offer a memorable dining experience that showcases the depth and variety of barbecue cuisine from two different cultures.
