Celebrate Kirk Park’s New Look at Open House

The wait is over! Thanks to a Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund grant, exciting upgrades are complete at Kirk Park. To celebrate the park’s fresh look, join us for an open house event on Thursday, June 27th, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

What’s New at Kirk Park?

• Fully accessible restroom: Now everyone can enjoy the park comfortably.
• New changing rooms: Added convenience for all your outdoor activities.
• Brand new roof: Keeping things dry and ready for fun.
• Relocated and upgraded playground: Providing a fresh and exciting space for kids to play.
• New signage: Identifying Kirk Park as a trailhead for Lakeshore Drive Pathway, US Bike Route 35, and the Lake Michigan Water Trail.

Open House Fun:

• Check out the new playground: Let your kids loose on the exciting new equipment.
• Scavenger hunt: Explore the park and have some fun while you’re at it!
• Popsicles for all: Cool down with a refreshing treat.

Free Parking:

During the event, motor vehicle permit fees will be waived from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, making it easier than ever to join the celebration.
