Kerry Washington showcased Larroudé and Altuzarra’s slingback pumps at the season two premiere of her Hulu series “Unprisioned” during the 2024 American Black Film Festival in Miami Beach Thursday.
The “Scandal” star wore a beige oversized blazer paired with a matching pleated mini skirt and a sheer, sandy-colored mesh top featuring shimmery gold metallic chain detailing. On foot, she donned the sleek pumps Larroudé and Altuzarra collaborated on and launched last fall. The chic leather style comes in seven shades but Washington opted for the warm brown hue dubbed “Burnt Umber.”

The pumps are designed with a classic pointed toe, an adjustable ankle strap with a gold buckle fastening, and Larroudé’s signature insoles with cloud memory foam cushioning for superior comfort. A rounded vamp and skinny stiletto heel measuring 4.1-inch inches complete the sharp look. The shoes are available to shop online, retailing for just under $500.

Speaking to FN about the collaboration, designer and founder Marina Larroudé shared, “The goal was to create something special, that you can’t find anywhere but classic enough that you can wear for years to come.”

She added, “When looking at the approach for the collaboration, we wanted to create iconic items in your wardrobe that you can wear season after season that felt relevant, sexy and polished. The style of sling-back pump with the Altuzarra buckle detailing, elongated toe and the architectural heel has a bit of both brand’s DNA imbued in the final product.” Notably, the style marks the first shoe produced in Larroudé’s Brazilian factory.
