Second terrorist also killed, entire area searched with drones

The second terrorist who escaped after the death of his companion in the Kathua encounter has also been found and killed after several hours of hard work. The recovered items are connecting to Pakistan

The items recovered from the terrorists killed in the Kathua encounter are connecting them to Pakistan. 3 magazines of 30 rounds, 1 magazine of 24 rounds and 75 rounds in another polythene have been recovered from the terrorists. Along with this, 3 live grenades, 1 lakh rupees (200 notes of 500 rupees), chocolates made in pakistan, dry gram and stale rotis, medicines and pain killer injections made in pakistan, 1 syringe, 2 packets of A4 battery were also found with them. A wireless handset was also found with the terrorists, through which they used to contact their masters. The antenna wrapped with tape is hanging around the handset.

A CRPF jawan was shot in the encounter

As soon as the information of firing by terrorists was received in Hiranagar area of Kathua on tuesday evening, the security forces surrounded the entire area. He was immediately admitted to the sub-district hospital of Hiranagar, where he died on wednesday morning during treatment.

A dozen bullets fired on DIG-SSP's car

During the Kathua encounter, security forces have killed one terrorist, while his fellow terrorist has managed to escape by breaking the security cordon.
