Will Carter Band will perform this weekend in Katy

The Will Carter Band is releasing a new album titled "Had It All Wrong" on June 28.

HOUSTON — Will Carter Band is comprised of seasoned musicians, including Will Carter (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Dillan Dostal (lead guitar), Carlos Pineda Avila (bass), Jacob Lee (drums), and Bino (fiddle, keys, and percussion). Their first track, "Wrong Side of Town," showcases the band's signature blend of rich melodies and poignant lyrics. This song, with the following singles "Had It All Wrong," "Sway" and "Just Wait And See" set the stage for the 2024 release of their highly anticipated album "Had It All Wrong".

Will Carter says he was blessed with a tight-knit family. Despite homeschooling, training horses, milking goats, and tending crops, he was always able to carve out time between chores to pursue his passion for songwriting, singing, and playing his guitar.

When Will was a teenager, his father became severely ill. He created a playlist of his father's favorite songs to share with his dad in hopes of providing some comfort and an escape for his dad. Seeing the initial impact of the music, Will recorded these songs and sold CDs to help raise money for his family. This creative and active way of assisting his family landed him on a television show with Deborah Duncan when he was just 13 years old. Those songs were played for his father every day until he passed. The peace, comfort, and inspiration of that period would serve as the catalyst for Will's songwriting and performance career.
