Kate Hudson made an elegant appearance at the Max Mara resort 2025 show in Venice, Italy wearing a long black belted dress and sleek Mary Jane pumps.
Hudson showed up at the Piazza San Marco wearing a loose-fitting long-sleeved black dress cinched at the waist with a thin black belt. The dress featured a deep V-neck, a long slit in the skirt and wide billowing sleeves. The actress and singer added a touch of color to the ensemble with a pair of large dangling turquoise earrings from Elisabeth Bell jewelry. She glamorized with a classic red lip and wore her blond waves out, contrasting the dark fabric of her dress.
Opting for refined footwear, Hudson wore a pair of black patent leather pumps. The glossy shoe featured a single thin buckled strap across the foot, adding flair to the signature pump design. With a closed back, the shoe included a thin heel that lent the star a little extra height.
Hudson attended the event with her 20-year-old son Ryder Robinson, whom she shares with musician Chris Robinson. The mother and son sat together in front-row seats for the show, which showcased looks inspired by Venetian fashion. Complementing his mother’s black dress, Robinson wore a white shirt under a black and white gingham print button-down. He completed the relaxed outfit with a pair of black Birkenstocks.

The star-studded June 11 event brought together a wide range of notable attendees, from Hudson to Brie Larson to Kathy and Nicky Hilton. Max Mara creative director Ian Griffiths helmed the show.
Prior to her appearance in Venice, Hudson wore a memorable pair of black stilettos while promoting the Michael Kors charity campaign “Watch Hunger Stop” alongside Halle Berry in 2023.
