Budget 0-20k Is there any significant difference between GPUs with GDDR5 and GDDR6 memory

HI, newbie here
I want to know is there any comparable difference between GDDR5 and GDDR6 GPUs.
Does a 6GB GDDR6 gpu better performs than 8GB GDDR5? Do we get more FPS in games and does it renders faster?

I am asking generally for knowledge. Now I know that there are more variable to compare so it does not directly depend on GDDR5 or GDDR6

The limit on the max bandwidth, the pcie bus support, the throughput, all are an improvement in GDDR6 over GDDR5.
Then again,
Keep in mind the actual specs and their comparison, as how well and efficiently an architecture is used depends on the manufacturer.
