Senator Jim Tedisco (R,C-Ballston Lake) and Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C-Ballston) recently honored at the state Capitol, Mia Collins, a trailblazing girls wrestling state champion from Ballston Spa High School. Mia Collins, a junior at Ballston Spa High School, captured the 2024 New York State Public High School Athletic Association girls wrestling title in the 132-pound Division on January 26. Tedisco and Walsh presented Collins with a copy of a NYS legislative resolution they authored and passed in both the Senate and Assembly, honoring her championship season. (Photo provided)
