Presented by the not-for-profit Near South Planning Board, the Printers Row Lit Fest is the largest free outdoor literary event in the Midwest. This two-day open-air festival draws over 100,000 attendees from across the country and the world as well as 100-plus booksellers displaying different types and genres of books and 200-plus authors participating in panels, discussions, and a variety of other programs. This community-based celebration for book lovers provides an opportunity for authors and publishing companies to showcase their works and products to a wide and diverse audience.
“Little Sasha” follows Sheriff Sean Anderson whose aim is to protect his family and his way of life against a sinister plot that threatens to engulf his country. He is forming a deputized militia to fight the encroaching force that would soon target his daughter, Little Sasha, a namesake of the Sasquatch that saved him in the past. Confronting the truth that the country he swore to protect is no more, Sean encourages a new love blossoming between his Latina Deputy, Alejandra and a secretive special forces Marine inserted into the militia by the White Alliance. This alliance has followed the career of Sheriff Anderson and allies with him to form a potent force. Together, they thwart attempts to stop the formation of the militia. The enigmatic, legendary Sasha Sasquatch plays a pivotal role as well.

Alfred Anderson hails from Minnesota and takes pride in his Swedish immigrant roots. Before successfully working as a Deputy Sheriff, he commenced his academic journey at the University of Colorado and subsequently pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts in England. Additionally, the author obtained an A.A.S. in Law Enforcement. In the 70s to 90s, Anderson successfully started and sold four profitable businesses. However, his career path took a new turn at the age of forty when he became employed in law enforcement as a Deputy Sheriff. After serving for about six years, he retired. Drawing upon his experience as a Deputy, the author pursued his desire to assist readers in comprehending their constitutional rights. Anderson’s motivation is to educate others in an engaging and informative manner about what he believes is fundamental knowledge that everyone should possess. Throughout the writing process, the former Deputy found his passion for sharing his collected knowledge with his readers. Following numerous years of diligent labor, Anderson and his wife, Helena, now divide their time between Washington and Costa Rica, savoring their retired life.
