Share price of ICICI Pru Life rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. gained 1.24 per cent to Rs 578.65 in Monday's trade as of 12:01PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 580.0 and low of Rs 569.15 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 7.73 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 12:01PM shares and turnover at Rs 0.96 crore around that time.

The stock of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 640.8 and Rs 463.5, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.14.

Promoters held 73.24 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2024, while FIIs held 13.35 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 8.54 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 23025.12 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2024, down 14.24 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 26849.7 crore and down 113.84 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 10767.43 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 173.67 crore, down 26.18 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
