Oman Air Joins Forces with SalamAir to Expand Travel Choices Through New Codeshare Agreement

Recently, the executives of Oman Air and SalamAir came together to celebrate the initiation of their newest codeshare agreement. This collaboration enhances travel choices for passengers by integrating routes within Oman and extending to international destinations. The meeting highlighted their shared dedication to bolstering Oman’s tourism industry, aligning with the nation’s strategic Vision 2040.

Starting from July 4, 2024, travelers will have the opportunity to book journeys on select SalamAir routes that will connect with Oman Air’s broader network. Following a successful initial phase, the plan includes expanding the available destinations.

Oman Air, which launched in 1993, initially focused on critical domestic routes. Over the years, it has experienced significant expansion and now serves as a key global airline, connecting international cities with Oman’s natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and hospitable environment.

SalamAir, which began its commercial flights in 2017, was established to redefine the aviation standards in Oman. It caters to the growing need for economical travel solutions in the country and strives to foster job creation and entrepreneurial activities across various sectors in Oman.
