Chandigarh : A premeditated incident unfolded at the Chandigarh airport involving Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kangana Ranaut, who was elected from the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency in Himachal Pradesh. The presence of a female constable stationed there had already alerted authorities that Kangana would enter through the gate where she was already present. Amidst this situation, supporters rallied around the female constable to boost her morale.

On Thursday evening, as Kangana Ranaut was passing through the scanner at the Chandigarh airport while en route to Delhi, the female constable administered a slap. Following this incident, the constable has been suspended, and further action is underway. The constable in question, Kulvinder Kaur, originally hails from Kapurthala in Punjab. She got married in Jammu about six years ago, and her husband is also in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). For the past two and a half years, Kulvinder has been on duty at the Chandigarh airport.

Kulvinder Kaur’s brother, Sher Singh, is associated with the farmers’ union in Punjab. He released a video revealing the brave act of his sister during Kangana Ranaut’s doping test. According to Sher Singh, Kulvinder was on duty at the scanner. He claimed that Kangana became unruly during the inspection, leading to an altercation.

In the aftermath of Kangana Ranaut’s incident, several Punjabi singers and rappers released songs within a span of just two hours. These songs went viral on social media. Shivraj Singh Bains, a businessman from Mohali district in Punjab, announced a reward of one lakh rupees for Kulvinder Kaur. Similarly, Ranjit Singh, a prominent Punjabi figure in Canada, honored the female constable and pledged a reward of five lakh rupees. Paramdeep Singh Baidwan, a leader of the Indian Farmers’ Union, also extended his appreciation to the constable.
