Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Infosys(Rs. 3667.35 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2886.45 crore), RIL(Rs. 2707.10 crore), HAL(Rs. 2138.68 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 2136.33 crore), L&T(Rs. 2066.18 crore), SBI(Rs. 2063.38 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 1957.20 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1927.84 crore) and M&M(Rs. 1805.90 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 468.75 points up at 23290.15, while BSE Sensex rose 1618.85 points to 76693.36.

In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 5.84 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 5.11 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 4.57 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 4.17 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 4.06 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 0.38 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 0.25 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.43 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.43 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
