Venture Report: Australia’s Brandon Capital raises its largest fund yet

As Brandon Capital invests the A$270 million ($180 million) it has raised thus far for its sixth fund, the firm will aim to disburse about half of the cash in Australia and New Zealand, with the rest going elsewhere around the globe.

Brandon has set a A$350 million goal for the vehicle, which is already larger than the firm’s A$250 million fifth fund. The Queensland Investment Corp. is a first-time investor; returning LPs include biotech CSL Ltd. (ASX:CSL) and Australian pension funds Hostplus and Hesta.
