Celebrate and Soar at Give Kids The World’s 2024 Amusement Park Adventure

This summer, Give Kids The World Village is teaming up with eight premier theme and amusement parks across the country for Coasting for Kids: The Inversion Tour, an exciting fundraising initiative. This program allows participants to enjoy the thrills of their favorite local attractions while supporting a charitable cause. All proceeds from this event will benefit Give Kids The World Village, an enchanting nonprofit resort sprawled across 89 acres in Central Florida. The Village offers magical week-long wish vacations, completely free of charge, to children battling critical illnesses and their families from across the globe.

The event will kick off at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, TX (June 23), followed by Adventureland in Altoona, IA (July 7), Hersheypark in Hershey, PA (July 13), Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, TX (July 27), Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN (August 3), Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari in Santa Claus, IN (August 18), Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, NJ (August 24), and Kennywood in Pittsburgh, PA (September 1).

This year’s event promises unique behind-the-scenes experiences at each park, including early access to select roller coasters, unavailable to the general public. Additionally, there are special incentives for those who participate at multiple parks. Fundraisers who register for two or more parks will automatically enter a raffle for the chance to attend the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo 2024 in Orlando this November, an event attended by thousands of industry members from over 100 countries worldwide.

Every year, over 30,000 children in the U.S. receive a critical illness diagnosis, with half of them opting for a wish. Among these wishes, a significant number choose to visit Central Florida and its renowned theme parks. Give Kids The World Village, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to making these dreams come true. They offer wish families a comprehensive dream vacation package, including transportation, accommodations, all meals and snacks, nightly entertainment, donated theme park tickets, daily gifts, and endless fun at the Village, which boasts a variety of accessible rides and attractions. Since its establishment in 1986, Give Kids The World has hosted nearly 200,000 families from across all 50 states and 77 countries.
