Dania Pointe Shines with Porthole Magazine’s Prestigious Travel Award

Dania Pointe, a premier 102-acre open-air destination in South Florida with nearly one million square feet of retail, entertainment, and dining options, has received the 2024 Editor-in-Chief Award from Porthole Cruise and Travel Magazine.

For over 25 years, this awards program has highlighted top travel destinations, cruise lines, essential travel items, and must-visit places. Dania Pointe was one of only two shopping destinations honored as the best pre- and post-cruise spots to visit.

Developed by Kimco Realty in 2018, Dania Pointe has quickly become a favorite for both locals and tourists. Located less than 15 minutes from Fort Lauderdale Airport and Port Everglades, it offers an ideal stop for cruise travelers.

Dania Pointe caters to all tastes with dining options like Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, Rodizio Grill Brazilian Steakhouse, and more. Already a hotspot in Dania Beach, 2024 promises even more excitement for Dania Pointe visitors with new additions like Lovesac, MisterO1, Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar, Pura Vida, H&M, and Puttshack. Additionally, Spirit Airlines has recently opened its new 11-acre corporate campus, Spirit Central, at Dania Pointe.

Bill Panoff, Chairman and CEO of the PPI Group, a media company specializing in cruise and travel marketing, announced the award winners. With 37 years of experience as Editor-in-Chief of Porthole Cruise Magazine, he is a veteran in the field.
