    Evangeline Lilly Explained Why She's Quitting Acting

    Evangeline Lilly has announced her retirement from acting.

    The Ant-Man actor, now 44, began acting in 2002. Her breakthrough role came two years later when she landed the role of Kate in the television series Lost.

    However, her time in the public eye has been controversial. Lily made headlines in 2020 for refusing to social distance or quarantine at the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. She attracted further attention in 2022 for posting about her support of an anti-vax rally, which also had members of the white nationalist group the Proud Boys in attendance.
