WATERBURY – Steven Joseph Cook, age 62, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. at the Saint Mary’s Hospital VITAS Innovative Hospice Care unit.
Born in Waterbury on Dec. 14, 1961, he was the son of the late Clark Cook Jr. and Mary (Crichton) Cook. He was a lifelong resident of Waterbury and had worked at Les Care Kitchens.
Steven was a proud veteran of the United States Marines and enjoyed long rides on his motorcycle and building his own furniture.
To cherish his memory, he leaves his daughter Kathleen Cook; his brother Kevin Cook; his sisters, Jacqueline Traver and Cindy Cole; his three beloved grandchildren, Craig, Gabriella, and Aaron “AJ”; and several nieces and nephews.
Steven was predeceased by his brother Ronald Cook.
Graveside services with military honors will be on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11 a.m. at New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Road, Waterbury.
