Mandy Moore Reveals the Affordable Skincare and Beauty Products She Loves

When it comes to her daily skincare routine, actress, singer-songwriter and soon-to-be mom of three Mandy Moore wants it to be "simple and effective."
"I've had my bouts in life of routines that involve numerous steps and I just have never found my footing in that way," the This Is Us star tells Good Housekeeping. "I inevitably miss things or I use things more frequently and run out of other things. I found at this juncture of my life, paring it down, keeping it simple and still finding products that are super effective is going to be the thing that really works for me."
We chatted with Mandy — who is partnering with dermatologist-recommended skincare brand Eucerin on their Expect More campaign — about how she keeps her morning and nighttime skincare routines as easy and beneficial as possible.
She also dished on the beauty brands she shops for her sensitive skin, including her favorite multi-use makeup product for summer and the lipstick she keeps in her bag for a quick pop of color.

"I'm obsessed with anything that has hyaluronic acid in it. So I really love Eucerin's Immersive Hydration line. Specifically, they have this Moisture Boost Serum that I'll use in the morning first thing. And I use it in the evening," Mandy says.
"In the morning, I'll layer it with a moisturizer that has an SPF in it," she continues. "At nighttime, I substitute for a night cream, something that's super hydrating."

Eucerin Tinted Sensitive Mineral Face Lotion, SPF 35
After she applies her serum, Mandy uses this fragrance-free tinted moisturizer with SPF 35 to help protect her skin from the sun.
"It's got a little color, and it just alleviates having to add makeup, foundation, that sort of thing on top of it," Mandy says of Eucerin's Tinted Mineral Face Sunscreen. "It's a great two-for-one."

"I'm into the multi-use products," Mandy reveals. "Something I can use on my cheek and use on my lip and, heck, even put it on my eyes is something that's going to be good."
She loves the shimmer of this Tower 28 Beauty tinted balm. "I'll put that on my eyes and put that on my cheeks during the summer," she says.
"If I am going to add makeup to the routine, it's maybe a great mascara, a great pop of color on my lips. That's a fun thing," Mandy shares.

"I'm a big bath girl," Mandy says. "That's not a wellness hack by any means, but that's what I lean on. That's my time to relax. Adding some Epsom salts or magnesium flakes in there is always going to make me feel better."

As far as how else Mandy prioritizes self-care, she says, "Being intentional about finding time for myself ... can look different on any given day." Or taking a second to put on a song that I love and dance with my kids and be silly," she continues.
"There are so many ways that I'm finding to get myself out of a rut or to take a deep breath and center myself in the present moment when things feel overwhelming or too much. I try to just have grace for myself in those moments, too," she concludes.
