A superhero show that has drawn standing room only crowds and been a staple of Avengers Campus since the Marvel themed land opened at Disney California Adventure will end its run later this month.
The final performance of “Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure will be on June 30, according to Disneyland officials.
However, fans may not want to wait until then to catch one last performance of the show. Currently, the last scheduled performance of “Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” is set for June 22, according to the Disneyland website.
No Doctor Strange shows are currently scheduled beyond that during the week of June 23-30, according to the Disneyland website. Disney California Adventure continually evaluates entertainment offerings and makes adjustments, according to Disneyland officials.
As always, performance dates and times can change, but as June 22 is the final show currently available, it’s probably better to plan ahead than be sorry you missed your last chance to catch the show.
Doctor Strange hosts the outdoor magic show with the help of special effects and digital projections in the crumbling ruins of his Sanctum Sanctorum in Avengers Campus.

During the mystic arts show, the sorcerer superhero trains recruits how to harness energy from other dimensions, bend the laws of time and space and unravel the mysteries of the multiverse.
Doctor Strange uses a mystical portal to transport Marvel heroes and villains to Avengers Campus – including Thor, Captain Marvel, Gamora and America Chavez.
The “Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” show is typically performed six times a day between 3:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.
Doctor Strange will continue to make appearances throughout Avengers Campus for meet-and-greet photo opportunities.
WDW News Today reports the closure of “Doctor Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” is part of a series of entertainment cuts coming to Disneyland and DCA.
Club Pixar stage shows – presented daily as part of DCA’s Pixar Fest – closed two months early after a brief run in the Hollywood Land backlot.
