Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: HAL(Rs. 206.91 crore), BEL(Rs. 155.13 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 119.19 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 116.14 crore), SBI(Rs. 99.12 crore), REC(Rs. 91.99 crore), Bhagiradha Chem(Rs. 81.95 crore), Vodafone Idea(Rs. 78.02 crore), Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 73.76 crore) and Power Finance Corp.(Rs. 71.93 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 107.0 points up at 21991.5, while BSE Sensex was up 328.28 points at 72407.33 as of 10:24AM(IST)on June 05.

In the Nifty index, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 7.73 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 6.65 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 6.09 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 5.75 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd.(up 4.99 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 6.05 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 5.96 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 4.90 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 3.52 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 3.25 per cent) were among the top losers.
