Novotel Goa Welcome Sachin Maheshwary as New General Manager to Enhance Hotel Excellence

Novotel Goa Candolim and Novotel Goa Resort & Spa are thrilled to introduce Sachin Maheshwary as their new General Manager. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality sector, Sachin brings a wealth of expertise to oversee the growth of 270 keys across both properties. His deep understanding of the Novotel brand and his proficiency as an F&B Alchemist for Accor in India & South Asia make him an invaluable addition.

In his new capacity, Sachin aims to enhance both Novotel properties through strategic F&B initiatives, comprehensive staff training, and an unwavering commitment to elevate guest experiences and services. He plans to integrate local elements by collaborating with communities and promoting sustainable practices. Having previously worked with the Novotel brand, Sachin is well-versed in its goals, service standards, and identity, and his innovative ideas will further enhance its reputation.

Sachin’s journey with Accor began in 2016 as the Executive Assistant Manager at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in the brand’s growth in India, leading successful pre-openings as General Manager at Novotel Kochi Infopark Kochi and Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall, Bengaluru. His leadership was instrumental in introducing various F&B programs and support frameworks across the region, earning him recognition such as the Times Best Hospitality Project award in 2022.

Prior to his tenure with Accor, Sachin honed his skills at renowned establishments like The Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai, Taj Lands End Mumbai, and Taj Coromandel Chennai. He holds a Masters of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University (US) and Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), where he was recognized as the ‘Best Student of the Year’. Additionally, he received the ‘Best F&B Manager’ award from FHRAI for the year 2013-14.

Commenting on his appointment Sachin expressed, “I couldn’t be more thrilled to join the Novotel family in Goa. Goa’s blend of beautiful beaches and rich heritage perfectly complements my love for exploring new places and learning about different cultures.” Talking about his vision for the properties, Sachin added, “I’m eager to work with the amazing teams here to create unforgettable experiences for our guests, all while driving our commitment to sustainability even further.
