Free 60+ Health and Wellness Expo on June 13

Routt County Council on Aging will host a free 60+ Health and Wellness Expo from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 13 at the Steamboat Springs Community Center.

The expo will offer a wide variety of free services and resources to support the health and wellbeing of people age 60 and older. The event is on a drop-in basis with no preregistration required. Lunch will be provided for free.

The free offerings will include hair cuts and styling, pedicures, manicures, chair massage, chair yoga, medical screenings, orthotics and prosthetics to support mobility and comfort, assistance with tax-related questions, AARP safe driving course and fraud prevention tips.



Agencies such as Northwest Colorado Health will be on hand to perform cardiovascular and dental screenings, and hearing and vision screenings also will be offered. Other resources will include hospice and grief counseling, medical equipment consultations, support groups for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, and support groups for veterans, widows and suicide survivors.
