    Galaxy A23 5G gets May 2024 security update after One UI 6.1

    Recently, Samsung released One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy A23 5G. Now, the company is rolling out the May 2024 security patch for the smartphone.

    At the moment, Samsung has made the latest security update available for the variant of the Galaxy A23 5G that Verizon sells in the United States. It carries the model number SM-A236V. The company should roll out the May 2024 security patch to other variants of the phone and in other regions in the next few weeks.

    The May 2024 security patch fixes 45 security issues. The firmware that brings it to the phone carries version A236VSQS4CXE3. You can check for the latest software update by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install. The firmware will soon be available in our database for you to download.
