CrowdStrike and Cloudflare Expand Strategic Partnership to Enhance Network Security and AI-Native SOC

CrowdStrike and Cloudflare have announced an expanded strategic partnership to strengthen network security and advance the transformation of Security Operations Centers (SOC). This alliance integrates Cloudflare’s cloud-native Zero Trust protection and connectivity with CrowdStrike’s AI-native cybersecurity on the Falcon XDR platform. The collaboration aims to help partners streamline vendor consolidation, reduce costs, and simplify operations for customers globally.

As cyber threats evolve rapidly, organizations face challenges managing a plethora of cybersecurity tools and alerts, leading to complex and potentially compromised networks. Gartner notes the increasing complexity of evaluating, managing, and integrating security tools into a cohesive strategy. An AI-powered cybersecurity platform is essential for connecting remote users, offices, and data centers, converging data, security, and IT to prevent lateral movement of adversaries.

Leveraging channel partnerships, CrowdStrike and Cloudflare deliver a fully integrated solution via a single API. The combination of CrowdStrike’s XDR capabilities with Cloudflare’s Zero Trust protection equips SOC teams to detect and respond to attacks across networks, devices, endpoints, cloud, identity, data, and applications.

Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, highlighted the value of merging CrowdStrike’s AI-native platform with Cloudflare’s Zero Trust capabilities, providing unprecedented benefits for global customers. Grant Bourzikas, Chief Security Officer at Cloudflare, emphasized the need for robust protections in today’s expanding threat landscape, noting that this partnership simplifies the implementation of best-of-breed security across organizations.
