TikTok Just Dropped 'Streaks' In Its DMs, And Now I'll Never Get Off This App

    It's called maintaining relationships.

    TikTok has just dropped a new 'Streaks' feature to its DMs, and suddenly I've been thrown back to high school in 2015.

    If you weren't around for the beginning of Snapchat Streaks in the mid 2010s, they signified another level of connection between you and your pals. Whether you spoke to each other IRL or not, having a streak with someone was sacred.

    Forming a streak involved sending Snapchats for a minimum three consecutive days between you and another user. 

    Maintaining Snapchat streak was a full-time job back in high school, and people would go to extreme measures to keep the streak going.
