BBC Radio 2's Scott Mills has married partner Sam Vaughan in a beautiful ceremony at the weekend.

The DJ and radio host and Vaughan chose Xalet del Nin near Barcelona to tie the knot surrounded by their friends and family. Following the wedding, the pair took to Instagram to share some snaps of their big day.

The pictures see the pair smiling in their black-and-white suits as they bask in the sunlight with their sunglasses on.

Mills and Vaughan kept their shades on during the ceremony, hosted by Mills' former Radio 1 co-presenter Chris Stark, and sealed the deal with a kiss amid some rainbow-coloured smoke.

Celebrating the happy couple were fellow celebrity DJs Zoe Ball, Rylan Clark and Jordan North, as well as Calvin Harris with his wife Vick Hope.

"Congratulations Scott & Sam, I'm so so happy for you both, we all had a wonderful day. Thank you so much for having us," North wrote in a comment.

"One of the proudest days of my life. Love ya both. Will never forget it x (ps enjoy twiddling your rings)," Stark shared.

Ball wrote: "congrats handsome husbands. love you both dearly. best hospitality best entertainment best wedding. still beaming."

Mills first confirmed he got engaged in October 2021, sharing he'd had some doubts about ever getting married before meeting Vaughan.

"Some Happy News! After 4 years together I'm delighted to say we got engaged at the weekend. As @samvaughan89 knows, I always said I didn't think I would ever get married," he wrote. "But then I met you Sam."

"You make me laugh every single day, you support me in so many ways and I adore everything about you. As soon as I met you I knew this could be something special and it is (after a slow start).

"We've had some amazing times, and I'm bursting with happiness to know we will have so many more. I love you with all my heart."
