When Trina McGee was cast as Shawn Hunter’s teen love interest, Angela Moore, in the ABC sitcom Boy Meets World, she was a 28-year-old mom of two.

More than a decade older than most of her costars — including then-17-year-old Rider Strong, who played Shawn — Trina has reflected on being at such a different stage in her life from the rest of the cast over the years.

And the star recently shocked fans when she revealed that she was six months pregnant during filming for Boy Meets World as she pointed out her bump during the infamous episode “And Then There Was Shawn,” which was shot and premiered in February 1998.

The actor split from Courtland in 2001, and has been married to actor Marcello Thedford since 2008.

And on Monday, 26 years after the birth of her third child, Trina revealed that she is pregnant with her fourth at 54 years old.

The baby will be her and Marcello’s first child together, and Trina asked fans for “prayers for a safe delivery” as she shared the exciting news.

Earlier on Monday, Trina had shared a photo of herself in a cropped halterneck top that showed off her stomach.

“the bump! 😍” one person commented on the post, to which Trina simply replied: “yup.”
Trina’s pregnancy announcement was liked by her former Boy Meets World costar Rider as well as Danielle Fishel, with followers also flooding to share their well-wishes — with many admitting that their biggest shock was learning that youthful-looking Trina is 54 years old.
