Keney Park in Hartford is Connecticut’s best public golf course, according to a listing by Golfweek. The magazine has ranked the best public golf courses, with 10 making the cut for each state. The rankings are created from surveys submitted by hundreds of members who grade courses on various criteria. The averages of the surveys are used to rank Golfweek’s best courses. The list lets you know whether each course is classic, meaning built before 1960, or modern, built more recently. Gillette Ridge in Bloomfield is new to the list, but the others have been top 10 listed in the past.
