Air India & Delhi Metro Transform International Travel With Powerful And Seamless Check-Ins

Air India partners with Delhi Metro to offer an astonishingly seamless check-in service for international travelers, revolutionizing the travel experience in Delhi.

Air India announced on Tuesday a new collaboration with Delhi Metro and Delhi Airport to offer check-in services for international travelers at two metro stations in Delhi. This initiative allows passengers to check in their baggage at the metro station, enabling them to explore the city without the burden of luggage.

Once checked in, the baggage is securely transferred to the aircraft via an advanced automated system managed by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL).

Previously available only for domestic flights, this service will now be extended to international passengers and will be available at New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations from 7 am to 9 pm, as stated by Air India.

Passengers can check in their baggage 12 to 2 hours before departure for domestic flights, and 4 to 2 hours before departure for international flights.

The metro trains run every 10 minutes, with a travel time of 19 minutes to reach Terminal 3 at Delhi airport, providing a quicker and more convenient travel experience, according to the airline.
